Martin Freeman's Silly Dance Moves Are the Best

by Tanya Ghahremani

While Saturday Night Live promos generally don't feature any hints as to what the actual episode's sketches are going to feature, I really, really hope the late-night show bucks the trend this year and includes something from Martin Freeman's SNL promos — because, seriously, they're kind of Beyoncé-level flawless.

In the series of promos of this Saturday's episode of SNL, Sherlock and The Hobbit star Freeman — along with SNL cast member Kate McKinnon — promote the episode in a variety of ways (a very British tea party is included due to Freeman's British-ness, for instance, as well as a bit about the two of them trying on the ring from Lord of the Rings), but, most importantly, with an impromptu dance party that allows Freeman to show off some extremely silly dance moves. I'm pretty sure that the only thing which would have made all of this better is an appearance from Freeman's Sherlock co-star Benedict Cumberbatch during this dance party, but we've already seen him showing off his silly moves, so it's a forgivable omission.

As usual, SNL will air on NBC this Saturday at 11:30 sharp. Check the promo below, and try not to scream too loudly at Freeman's hilarious dance skillz.
