Meowseph, much like his tyrant namesake, lords over his human “owners” in their home in Oslo, Norway, keeping them in line using devastating measures like perching on advantageous surfaces and stalking. Anne Sofie and her boyfriend adopted the devilish feline from his former owners who had to give him away. Sofie states, “He always had a really smug, distinguished face that charmed me to death.” Too soon?
Meowseph Stalin has amassed over 9,000 followers on Instagram, which only makes perfect sense for this power-hungry, mustachioed cat. Next thing you know, he’ll be organizing The Great Purrge and truly wreak havoc on the Internet. Any Bolsheviks out there best be careful because from the sounds of it, Meowseph is far from being overthrown—you can even support his cause by purchasing Meowseph merchandise, including t-shirts, sweatpants, and sports bags via the black market, I mean, the Internet.
According to The Daily Dot, Meowseph’s name and persona was inspired by Cats Who Look Like Hitler. It's only a matter of time before all these villainous felines band together and write a Meowifesto together and take over the world.
