Once again, Katy Perry has changed her hair. Perry, Kylie Jenner, and Demi Lovato are the trifecta of hair chameleons, and I definitely need some sort of chart to keep up with their changes. Katy Perry has pinky-purple hair now, and it perfectly matched her lipstick in the Instagram photo she used to reveal her latest do. Perry, who is actually a natural blonde, is not afraid to experiment with every color of the rainbow. So how does this new shade measure up against her previous blush and light hues?
It actually slays. It's almost like she dipped her strands in a glass of rosé and stained the ends. She has played with different shades of pink throughout her career, but this is as rosy as she has gone. She has had dark, royal purple streaks in her hair before, but the pink streaks are something new.
The fact that she can match this hair hue to her lipstick is pretty awesome, too. Matchy-matchy is always tricky in fashion and it can be even more problematic when it comes to makeup and beauty since one color can overwhelm a face, but Perry's look is so bright and lovely.
This is also likely her natural hair length, too. Since the former Mrs. Russell Brand switches it up and swaps shades out as often as her songs are on the radio, she probably keeps it shorter to combat damage.
I am loving the fact that she kept her nose ring, too. She is pop's punky princess. While I love when she is black, glossy, and banged with her hair, she does pink right.
She was rose gold before anyone else was rose gold with this angled bob.
Her bright pink bun was also semi-matched to her lipstick, but it wasn't as soft as her new pairing.
Her coordinated and cotton candy pink waves were very...pink. A more purple shade definitely suits Perry best!
