The Best Looks from the 'PLL' Christmas Special
What an episode, eh? What with Holbrook/Ali (possibly) becoming a thing, Cece Drake rearing her ugly head once more (rule number 1 of Pretty Little Liars: You're not dead until we see the body), and what looks like the impending end of Paily... well, a lot happened. I'd even go so far as to say that enough happened to keep us held over until season 5b premieres in just under a month (Pretty Little Liars returns on January 6th, baby!).
OK, so that's not quite true: Us PLL fans will never truly be sated, not even when A's true identity is revealed in season 6 (yep, that's happening — and lucky Keegan Allen already knows ). That said, the inaugural Christmas special was certainly pretty darn hearty — especially in the fashion department. Winter wear in Rosewood is always fun, and Ali's ice ball definitely kicked things up a notch: It was a fun way to get into the fabulosity we're accustomed to getting during the Halloween specials, and costume designer Mandi Line totally delivered. There was also the ultra-fab Ghost Mona (Janel Parrish should get in on that silver hair trend stat; she was totally rocking it), and even a Sexy Santa Spencer thrown into the mix.
Let's rank the top looks!
6. Spencer's Gown
Simple, flattering, and the color is gorgeous on her. As for Hanna's dress? No comment.
5. Sexy Santa Spencer
Let's be real, those thigh-highs were on point.
4. Aria's Party Dress
Of the four PLLs, I'd say Aria and Spencer took the formalwear cake. Aria's ultra-poofy, ultra-sparkly gown is perhaps made even better by the fact that it was a Christmas present from Ezra.
Oh, and here's a random fact for you: Did you know that Emily's dress is from Sherri Hill, AKA Sadie Robertson's modest prom dress line?
3. Paige's Suit
Um, can we just take a minute to appreciate the fabulosity that is Paige McCullers?
2. Ghost Mona
Kind of speaks for itself.
And last, but not least:
1. Flashback Hanna
Completely Elle Woods-approved, in the best way possible.
