Lohan's New BF is A Serial D-List Dater

If you think diving into a relationship is a good move after you've spent years battling your inner demons, floating in and out of rehab, and generally sorting out the life your messed up parents thrust on you, then I have great news on that front. Lilo's got a new boyfriend. People reports the Lindsay Lohan is dating Matt Nordgren, a former University of Texas football star who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

If his name sounds familiar, it's not because you were sleep-watching ESPN on Ambien again — you've likely heard of Nordgren because he's previously dated former Bachelorette winner Vienna Giardi and former Hills star Audrina Patridge. Wow.

But wait, it gets worse. Not only does he have a history dating D-list reality stars, he also happens to have starred on a D-list reality show, as well. Nordgren was on Bravo's 2011 flop Most Eligible Dallas.

His reality-laden past would generally lead us to believe that this guy is just using Lindsay to get in the spotlight, but there's some hope that he's actually a good partner for her. He and Lindsay have known each other for seven years, which is a solid sign, and he seems very supportive when it comes to her sobriety.

He told Page Six: "She's completely sober now. She's in a great place and working hard and meeting with all the right people."
