Tom Vs. Benedict: A Bustle Venn

by Allyson Koerner

Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch go together like beer and bad karaoke, Lorelai Gilmore and coffee, and, of course, Sherloki and fan fiction. There's no doubt that when someone utters Hiddleston's name, Cumberbatch's soon follows and vice versa. These actors are two peas in a pod, after all Hiddleston and Cumberbatch are best friends, so with one you surely get the other. Honestly, I don't think anyone complains about getting this duo as a package deal.

When you see two skilled, friendly, and beloved actors receive so much recognition for their talents and friendship, it's hard not to compare the two, especially when you have two huge fan-bases (Hiddlestoners and Cumberbitches) advocating for their idols on a daily basis. Some might battle over who has the better dance moves (I have a feeling Hiddleston would win for cutting a rug constantly) and who can impersonate famous actors (yes, Cumberbatch's Alan Rickman impression is spot-on), but instead of just focusing on their differences, we should also celebrate their similarities.

Yes, as much as these two are different, they have quite a few things in common. With that said, here's how these charming and good-looking men compare all with the help of a handy-dandy Venn diagram — don't worry, this will be much more enjoyable than the ones you saw in math and science class.

Yep, these two have quite a bit in common. One more thing? Both of them will always have support from their fans — and that support just might come in the form of a Venn diagram...
