These Porn Stars Go Without Makeup

There is just something about seeing celebrities without makeup that reminds us that they are human. The countless hours that they must sit in their chairs as the MUA's curl their eyelashes, contour their cheekbones, create the perfect winged eye, plump their lips and shape their eyebrows, has to be exhausting. But this is a business folks, and you must play the part. This is something that actresses in the porn industry know as well, as they get primed and primped for their risqué numbers on the screen. However, sometimes, porn stars, too, bare it all. Not in their most common ways, but instead showing what they look like without their makeup.

Melissa Murphy, a seasoned makeup artist in the adult film industry, uses her Instagram page to promote her transformational makeovers via before-and-after pictures. Just like we're reminded of the normal-ness of celebrities when we get a peek behind their made up faces, so too, do these images surprise. The actors before makeup (and hair), look just like the rest of us (#iwokeuplikethis). When they do wear makeup, however, it lasts through the stamina they must keep up during their intense scenes. Murphy has even taken time out to share how you, too, can make your makeup last. Whether you're prepping for a raunchy night with a partner, need a look to last you from work to happy hour, or for some strange reason, you want to wear makeup to the gym, she's got you covered. In order to avoid running eyeliner, she told New York Magazine that you should opt for anything waterproof, and that "less lipstick is best for sexy time." Take notes, people. Take notes.
