Prepare Yourselves For Even More 'Frozen'

by Alyse Whitney

Winter is coming in California, and the forecast calls for singing snowmen and sisterly love. If you haven't reached capacity for the animated favorite yet, book your tickets now, because Frozen is coming to Disneyland and California Adventure on Jan. 7. At California Adventure, The Muppets 3D Theater will be transformed into Arendelle’s Crown Jewel Theater to welcome "For the First Time in Forever — A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration" that will tell the kingdom's history. You can also frolick in the snow in "Olaf's Snow Fest" while music plays from the Frolicking Fjords and The Tubador or visit Wandering Oaken's Trading Post to get all of the plush Olafs you could ever need. There will, of course, be meet and greets with the princesses at "Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome" before having fun at "Freeze the Night!" a.k.a. a nightly dance party for the whole family.

If somehow that doesn't satisfy your Frozen fever, Disneyland's offerings include a new show inside the Fantasy Faire with a retelling of the movie, a float during Mickey’s Soundsational Parade for Anna and Elsa, some fun locales on the Storybook Land Canal Boats, a new boutique, and an ice rink themed around Olaf. Basically, both parks are making kids' dreams come true, and if we're being honest, adults too. I don't know about you, but I'm booking my tickets now — something has to tide everyone over until the new Frozen short airs before Cinderella in March 2015 and the official ride opens in Epcot at Disney World in 2016.
