Uh oh. Is Aaron Carter at it again? Is he trying to reach out to Hilary Duff and officially win her back? It doesn't really seem like it, but Aaron Carter is watching himself on Lizzie McGuire, because that's the way to get into the holiday spirit..? On Wednesday, the singer shared a photo on Instagram of himself watching himself on the Disney Channel show's 2001 special holiday episode. So that is the perfect way to get into the joyous season we all know and love.
As you can see below, the photo caption reads, "'Merry Christmas, Lizzie McGuire.' #IWantCandy #AaronCarter #Flashback I never actually watched this before." The episode titled "Aaron Carter's Coming to Town" was about Lizzie wanting to meet Carter and be featured in his "I Want Candy" music video. Also, at this time Duff and Carter were dating.
So, for real, why is he watching Lizzie McGuire and letting everyone know about it? Maybe Carter's trying to get Duff's attention...again? Well, it looks like he wants his followers to know he's watching the episode for the first time. Um, OK? I guess it's not too strange to let people know on social media what you're watching (I do it all the time), but I don't think I've ever taken a picture of myself watching a show. Then, again, I've never been on a TV show.
Maybe he's just being nostalgic, because the holidays are all about nostalgia, right? It's also quite possible he's hoping to share a kiss with Duff under the mistletoe. If that's the case, sorry, buddy, I don't think that's going to happen.
