Now THESE Are Some Cool Sneakers
As a recovering high heels addict, it's taken me a long time to warm up to the idea of sneakers. I loathed them for many years, but I'm now realizing that cute kicks can do wonders for the feet and the wardrobe. My first adult pair of non-workout sneakers are and from Payless (they go with everything) but now that Kate Spade Saturday x New Balance is on the horizon, I'm thinking it might be time to expand my collection.
The collaboration, which doesn't drop until February (sorry, holiday shoppers!), is perfect for any fashion girl who's still afraid to embrace full-on trainers. Kate Spade Saturday re-vamped New Balance's popular WX711 and WX811 women's shoe styles in four splashy prints. Sarah Kopriva, Strategic Business Unit Manager for Women’s Fitness Footwear at New Balance wrote in a press release sent to Bustle:
The WX711 and WX811 are rooted in the comfort and performance women expect from New Balance, and combined with Kate Spade Saturday’s innovative and playful styling, we know women will be excited to wear these pieces to the gym or out and about on Saturday, the best day of the week!
Sounds like an absolute dream for any playful fashionista looking to give her tired feet a much-needed break — without sacrificing style, of course. Both sneaker styles will retail for $95, so they aren't cheap, but they are affordable for a quality shoe. Check out the looks below and start planning which ones you'll need in your rotation (spoiler: probably all of them).
