If you're a comic book fan and a lover of all things X-Men, then I'm sure you heard the news that Oscar Isaac will play the titular villain Apocalypse in the upcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse. In addition to becoming one of the most talked about villains, Isaac is also known for his roles in Inside Llewyn Davis, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, Drive with Ryan Gosling, and the upcoming A Most Violent Year with Jessica Chastain. OK, it's pretty obvious he's a talented actor, but aren't there more important things we should be talking about? Like is Oscar Isaac single? Let's get our priorities straight, people.
Let me tell you, this is one mysterious man when it comes to his personal life which I totally get. Sometimes you have to separate your professional life from your love life, especially if you're in the limelight. It's OK, Isaac, I forgive you. With that said, last time anyone knew, Isaac was engaged to girlfriend Maria Miranda. Per an article posted by The Mirror in 2010, Isaac popped the question to Miranda in December 2007. Also, it appears that these two are longtime sweethearts. Yeah, he just got even more adorable.
According to a Miami Herald blog post, Isaac asked Miranda to marry him on Christmas Eve by the Lincoln Center fountain, after an evening at the Metropolitan Opera. Apparently, these two have been together for nine years, after meeting at Miami Dade College's Kendall campus.
Whether these two have tied the knot, or are truly engaged, remains unclear. However, one thing does remain true: Isaac sure knows how to sing. Just listen to this song from Inside Llewyn Davis . He can serenade Miranda whenever he wants.
