'Better Call Saul' Has a Premiere Date

by Tanya Ghahremani

GUYS. Amazing, exciting, brilliant news for anyone who's sorely been missing Breaking Bad since the series ended last year: Breaking Bad 's upcoming spin-off, Better Call Saul , has a premiere date. And even better, it's not even as far off as I was expecting! This is a Thursday afternoon miracle.

According to Vulture, AMC announced that Better Call Saul, which will star Bob Odenkirk as he reprises his Breaking Bad role of sleazy lawyer to Albuquerque's lowest, Saul Goodman, will premiere with a two-part, two-night event. The first episode will commence on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at 10 p.m., and the second episode will wrap up on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 and 10 p.m. After that, the show will continue airing on Mondays, which will (hopefully) make Mondays slightly more bearable than they are right now.

As if that weren't enough exciting news from the network about this show, AMC also released an — albeit, very short, and very cryptic — teaser for Better Call Saul , which depicts a sleazy motel room littered with drugs and alcohol, as well as an a copy of the Yellow Pages opened to Saul Goodman's ad. It's pretty fitting, considering Saul Goodman's usual clientele.

Check the teaser below. It won't be long now, everyone!
