The one and only Solange and fiance Alan Ferguson hosted an intimate movie night in New Orleans to celebrate their upcoming nuptials, happening this weekend. Outfitted in a white dress with a daring slip, styled with metallic gold accessories, Solange Knowles' pre-wedding party look was a disco-fabulous clean sweep.

With flared sleeves and a plunging v-neckline, the midi-length frock added to the whole updated Diana Ross feel of the look, as Racked points out. At an independent movie theater called the Indywood Cinema, the group watched the 1975 Diana Ross flick Mahogany so the bride-to-be dressed perfectly to theme. How do ya' like them apples, eh?

Add a pair of strappy metallic heels, a knockout red lip, and Knowles was serving an effortless vibe of elegant glam. Knowles carried the Kate Spade birdcage evening bag from the label's "Hello Shanghai" collection on her arm, adding a touch of whimsy to the ensemble. Two things that never cease to make the world smile: bags that think they're something else; laid-back weddings.

Come to think of it, this is actually a perfect alternative-wedding look. I totally wouldn't judge if she wanted to recycle this ensemble to walk down the aisle. Take this as a challenge, bridal gown. You've got a tough act to follow.

Looking kinda like she actually woke up like this, but still entirely flawless, Beyonce attended the party rather dressed down with a face clean of makeup. Hova was nowhere to be found.
