I rarely get excited over celebrity baby news, but even I can't deny: This headline was enough to melt my cold, dead heart. According to Us Weekly, the world's cutest, most adorable celebrity couple ever, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, are expecting their first child together after three years of marriage — and, even better, a rep for the actress has actually confirmed the news, so it's completely true.
"They both want kids, it's one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family," a source told the tabloid of the news. "They both couldn't be more excited." Blunt and Krasinski, for the record, got married with a fabulous ceremony in Italy in 2010 that probably cost more than you and I could ever afford (and also Meryl Streep was there).
As Us Weekly points out, Blunt revealed in an interview with Manhattan magazine last year that she and Krasinski wanted kids, but just weren't sure about when yet: "We want to have children; I just don’t know when yet. I’m just not sure about the timing of all of that ... we’re both from big families so I think it’s something we want."
Stop it. Too much cuteness.
