9 Times Diem & CT Were Just Too Cute

It's an absolutely tragic day, especially if you're a fan of MTV reality shows. After a long and arduous fight with cancer, The Challenge star Diem Brown passed away on Friday in a New York City hospital. Not only did Diem have the endless support of family and friends, but she also had the love and sympathy of the wealth of fans who were following her account of her journey via her People magazine blog and her website, MedGift. The world is truly losing a bright soul and a wonderful person with the loss of Diem.

However, that's all the more reason to celebrate her life. Diem became famous thanks to her appearance the MTV reality show, but she is also well-known for her relationship with Chris "CT" Tamburello. The two of them were absolutely adorable while they were together, but that didn't stop even after their break up. Not only did they also appear on Real World/Road Rules Challenge seasons, such as The Duel (where they met) and The Gauntlet IIl, but CT also supported her during her cancer struggle. Even when they weren't in a romantic relationship, their enduring care and support for one another was beautiful to witness and way too cute to handle.

So, in honor of Diem and CT, here's a look at nine special moments the couple shared.

1. They were cute the entire time they were dating

Who could forget the first time that CT and Diem kissed? The entire house was waiting with baited breath for them to resolve that sexual tension out there on the cliffs, so don't feel alone if you were also on the edge of your seat. From there, we got so many adorable moments out of their on-off relationship that the chemistry between them was just not to be denied.

2. She complimented him at the reunion show

When the two reunited for The Challenge: Rivals II reunion show, Diem had nothing but nice things to say about CT. "It felt like déjà vu for me. When I met him, I was just off of chemo and it felt like family," she said. "Coming back, it’s this comfort of someone, like, when you’re so insecure, [someone] held your hand and helps you, and it was falling back into it."

3. They showed PDA on the red carpet

All right, so this isn't exactly PDA and it certainly didn't indicate that they were back together. However, the fact that the two felt good enough and peaceful enough about their relationship in order to play it up for the red carpet reporters was adorable.

4. She said he made her feel beautiful

Okay, so CT and Diem spent this The Challenge: Battle of the Exes interview arguing with and exasperating each other. However, despite that, Diem still credited CT as being the one who made her feel beautiful and wanted and ladylike when she was going through her chemo. That this still means so much to her says a lot about their relationship.

5. They watched the ocean together

CT's Throwback Thursday photo from September 2013 was a picture of himself and Diem watching the sunset that was taken from Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel. At that point, it had been about six years since the two had been a couple and about a year since they had competed together on Battle of the Sexes — but all that time meant nothing next to this cute shot.

6. They wore matching hats

I'm sorry, but any couple can get me right in the heart by wearing matching anything — be it shirts, necklaces, or, as with CT and Diem, matching hats. And look how young they are.

7. He rushed to her side

Even though CT and Diem had an on-off relationship and even though their relationship status is usually set at ambiguous at best, CT visited Diem at the hospital and shared this touching photo of the two of them to encourage everyone to support her and to support MedGift.

8. He called her the definition of grace

The caption more or less speaks for itself, but I can't help but shed a tear when I read the words, "[Diem is] an inspiration of strength, heart, and hope for so many people." That's how he saw Diem, even years after their relationship had ended. That's the strength of this adorable bond.

9. She was his woman crush

Wednesdays are for Woman Crushes according to the Internet and CT bought right into that with this photo he posted to Instagram of Diem, once again encouraging people to support her during her battle with cancer. The cuteness of this moment can be summarized in one portion of the caption: "Your smile can change the world."
