Update: Swift has released the music video officially to her Vevo as of early Monday afternoon.
On Monday morning Yahoo! accidentally leaked Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" music video. Her team may not be too happy about that, but since it's pretty amazing I'm happy to have seen it. Plus, it introduced me to the guy in Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" video who is super hot, even if he was kind of a jerk. So who is the man by T Swift's side? That would be model Sean O'Pry who bore the brunt of her Nic Cage-style meltdown.
In the video (which has now been taken down), Swift is dating Sean who wears capes and rides bikes indoors with her and then has the audacity to text other girls. (Like, dude stop. Taylor Swift is right in front of you.) So Swift goes full “nightmare dressed as a daydream” on him. She sets his clothes on fire, stabs a cake, smashes his car, etc. Gone were the days of writing "Sean + Taylor" in tree bark.
But fortunately, that scene helped clue me in on who, exactly, the dapper horse-riding male friend of hers is. After Googling several variations of "Taylor Blank Space Guy Sean" I found his Twitter. It wasn't hard to confirm his identity. He's the one retweeting everything about the video because he's so proud to be the guy T Swift went crazy on. Also he's pretty proud of his caped dog-walking look.
But who is he outside of the video's sprawling estate? He's actually a pretty big deal.

In 2012 he joined a bunch of other models to blow smoke rings in Madonna's "Girl Gone Wild" video. T Swift and Madonna? This guy has some good music video partners.
HE LOVES HIS MOM
He tells an adorable story of when he first got to New York with his mom after being scouted. They wanted to go eat and he thought Fendi was a food option instead of a brand.
No doubt he knows what Fendi is now, along with every other top brand. With how successful he is, T. Swift should probably be just as honored that he appeared in the video as he should be to have played her love interest. Check out his appearance in the video below.
