The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be off the air right now but, as with all reality shows on Bravo, the drama doesn't seem to take a hiatus along with the cast. According to TMZ, cast member Kenya Moore's assistant Brandon DeShazer was involved in a huge brawl with Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks' husband, last night over Kenya's workout video that was a key plot point last season.
The details are a bit blurry, but it's a slow news day so here's the story anyway. TMZ explains:
According to witnesses, Apollo flew into a rage and "violently attacked" Brandon at a party that was being filmed for the upcoming season ... and it was all caught on tape.The witnesses say Apollo -- who once served 5 years in prison for racketeering -- had to be restrained by 7 male crew members before finally retreating.
Apparently, Apollo was pissed that Kenya and Brandon produced their own workout video instead of sticking with the original plan, which was to have Phaedra star in a workout video. Apollo reportedly felt "slighted" by the fact that Phaedra was cut out of the plans, and so he attached Brandon.
Apollo, of course, is denying that he attacked Brandon, saying instead that there was a fight on set and, when he tried to break it up, Brandon attacked him. All this, over a workout video called "Donkey Booty."
