Are Khloe & French Reuniting?

When I watched Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons on E! this past Sunday night, I found myself saying "aaaww" over and over again in every scene with Khloe Kardashian and French Montana. "They are such a cute couple" I thought to myself. And that's when I remembered the separation between reality and reality television. The two of them are actually no longer together and I got a little sad. But then I saw the preview of what's to come for the rest of the season and I could not let go of the cuteness on my screen. I just wanted them to get back together so badly. I started to regain hope when I read on Hollywood Life that Khloe Kardashian and French Montana were spotted at Kendall Jenner's birthday party last night.

Then I had to back track on what I had seen on social media the past few days and there had been a lot of French Montana/Kardashian/Jenner interactions. At first I thought Kardashian and Montana were just on good terms, but it seems like a super quick turn around for such recent exes. French Montana's happy birthday Instagram post to Kendall Jenner was sweet and all, but him attending the party along with Khloe Kardashian definitely stood out to me. I think that there is a very good chance that these two could be getting back together.

The Birthday Party

I just cannot picture French Montana and Kendall Jenner having a conversation. What do they have in common other than Khloe Kardashian and taking Instagram pics with rappers? Yeah, I cannot think of anything. I just find it tough to believe that the two of them bonded so much that they have a special connection other than him dating her sister. I don't see Adrienne Bailon, Lamar Odom, Reggie Bush, or Kris Humphries in Kendall Jenner's birthday Instagram post. There is no reason for her to just invite one of her siblings exes— unless they are no longer exes. Am I right? Of course I have zero clue, but I mean it is a sound theory based on the rules of girl code.

The Wendy Williams Interview

Wendy Williams got French Montana to agree to an interview last week where no topic or question was off limits, so of course she went in and asked all about the Kardashians. French Montana said that there was no bad blood between he and Khloe Kardashian, but we already know that. What I caught from watching it is how he strongly implied that the two have reconciled or at least on the path to doing so. When asked about his relationship with Kardashian, the rapper told Wendy Williams, "We're in a real special zone. She's going to be my baby forever."

Do you notice how he said "we're" no "we were" as in present tense verbiage. That and the would "forever" are strong words to use. Then Williams asked about whether he was dating Kardashian for a boost in popularity and he said he did not "feel like love comes like that." He has been gushing over Khloe Kardashian in many interviews these days and it really does not seem like he's looking for shine. If he does not have his girl back, it looks like he is working on it.

The Khloe Kardashian Press Interviews

Khloe Kardashian has a new show on E! to promote and this means she's doing a lot of interviews and people are asking her personal questions. It's only natural with French Montana being featured on the show. At a press event this week, the reality star made it a point to insist that she is "not dating anybody." But could she be "talking" to a guy. And by guy I mean French Montana. You know what I mean, in one of those we are together, but we are not dating kind of ways. But she also said, "We all miss French. We love French. I'm still friends with him. I still talk to him everyday. I talked to him before I came here."

When were they ever friends? They became a serious couple from the get-go. So does this mean that you are just back to the way you were before, as in romantically involved? And again, who is that chummy with a recent ex? I am all for trying to salvage a relationship with someone who was once a big part of your life, but not someone you just dated a minute ago. The constant contact is not what "friends" do, label it what you want, but I can't help but view that as long distance dating.

I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical of this relationship at first. Khloe is my favorite out of all the Kardashian sisters and I did not want to see her hurt after everything that went down with Lamar Odom. I thought that French Montana was looking for his fifteen minutes in the press. After watching episode one of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons along with the preview of what's ahead this season, I think they were (are?) are a super cute couple. They think very highly of each other and I think that even if they are not technically back together that they should consider giving it another go.
