TV Worlds Are Colliding & We Can't Get Enough

by Kelly Schremph

There's nothing that I love more than the possibility of a crossover episode between two of my favorite TV shows — as long as it's done the right way, of course. Call it greedy and unnecessary if you want, but I just can't resist the idea of equally lovable characters interacting with each other. Like if Once Upon a Time's Evil Queen were to go up against American Horror Story: Coven 's Fiona Goode. What would that dynamic be like? (Obviously Fiona would ultimately win because JESSICA LANGE, but still. It would be interesting to see how it all would play out.) Why do I bring this up? Well, you have Sleepy Hollow 's Orlando Jones to thank for that.

On Monday, Jones tweeted a photo of himself with Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates (who plays Tig), and included the hashtag "#SonsOfHollowarchy" in the caption. Clearly, this is an incredible (albeit highly improbable) crossover idea. Combining the cast of Sleepy Hollow with SOA would be beyond the realm of fantastic television. In fact, I would pay good money to see Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane go head-to-head with SAMCRO. And while I'm under no false impression that this union will ever happen (especially since SOA is in the process of wrapping its seventh and final season), it got me thinking about other Twitter images that could spawn equally exciting crossover theories.

Let your imaginations soar, my friends!

An Arrow & Supernatural Crossover

This adorable picture of Stephen Amell and Jared Padalecki is enough to make any TV lovers' heart race with excitement. I mean, Oliver battles evil… Sam battles evil… it'd pretty much be the best crime-fighting bromance ever, right? Seriously, let's make this happen, writers.

Working title: SuperArrow.

An American Horror Story & Game of Thrones Crossover

Pedro Pascal's GoT character, Oberyn, may have met a gruesome fate, but that doesn't mean his character couldn't find his way into AHS territory. In fact, it probably works to his benefit that he's already dead given that, on this miniseries, being dead doesn't necessarily equal gone. I would be all over this. We can all go home now because this is clearly where Season 5 is heading.

Working title: American Horror Story: Iron Throne.

An American Horror Story & Orphan Black Crossover

Just when you think the AHS cast can't get any better, try throwing Tatiana Maslany into the mix and your life will never be the same again. I need this. The world needs this.

Working title: American Horror Story: Clone Club.

A Vampire Diaries & Gotham Crossover

I mean, the image pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it? Mystic Falls + Gotham City = guaranteed ratings gold.

Working title: The Gotham Diaries.

A OUAT & Revenge Crossover

You guys… what if Emily is the Sorcerer, whose hat Rumpel has stolen? Or better yet, what if she's the author of Henry's storybook? (*mind blown*)

Working title: Once Upon a Revenge.

A Parks & Recreation & Scandal Crossover

Leslie Knope meets Olivia Pope? Umm, yes please! The names even seem to have a rhyme-like ring to them. Not to mention that Donna and James would clearly be BFFs. And while some of you may be inclined to point out that Dan Bucatinsky is no longer on Scandal, let me just remind you that there are always ways around that. Behold the power of the flashback episode!
