Khloe's Trip To South Africa Caused Sister Drama

The latest reincarnation of Keeping Up With The Kardashians might be called Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons , but Sunday's season premiere is going to take us to a different locale: South Africa. Khloe Kardashian and then-boyfriend French Montana hit the city of Durban together, and by all social media accounts, they had a blast. And although their trip definitely looked fun, it was over just as soon as it began.

French Montana was in town for the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards in June. For Khloe, watching the playback of their vacay might be a slightly awkward experience being that she took the trip with her ex-boyfriend, and I'm sure you can imagine how much fun it must be to see yourself happy and in love with someone you're no longer dating. But this is Kardashian world, and that means the show must go on. Besides, if you ask French, they're basically still together. Or something like that.

Despite the fact that Khloe's usually an obsessive Instagrammer, there actually aren't too many details of their trip out there just yet — possibly because the KKTH producers wanted to keep it covered in a shroud of mystery and relationship drama until the episode airs? Either way, I was able to dig up some info, even though it required combing through way more of French Montana's Instagram than I ever intended to.

Khloe got to go for free — and Kourtney was pissed

In this interview from E!, Khloe describes her short South African detour as the trip of a lifetime. Unfortunately, Kourtney probably wouldn't do the same. Apparently, since the trip happened just as Kourt and Khloe arrived in The Hamptons, it actually became a pretty big point of contention between them, and the resulting drama is something I'm looking forward to watching on Sunday. But the trip was all expenses paid, so how could Khloe turn that down?

I'm not here to judge what anyone else does on their vacation. Early morning walks on the beach to watch the sunrise are totally romantic, but I'm just getting way too many Hugh Hefner vibes here for comfort.

Khloe & French went on a safari

Safari selfies are apparently a must, and because of them, we know that Miguel (who was also in town for the MAMAs) was there too. Also, French got to stand super close to this awesome giraffe! I'm officially jealous.

Khloe reportedly donated a ton of money to stop poaching

According to witnesses who spoke to E!, before she boarded her flight back to the Hamptons on June 9 from South Africa's King Shaka International Airport, Khloe dropped a substantial amount of cash in order to help the animals she'd just seen on safari. "[She] even put a big tip in the Wetlands Anti-Rhino Poaching Donation box!" the source told E! Online. Go, Khloe!
