The Cast of 'She's All That': Where Are They Now?

Ready to feel old? She's All That, the classic nerd-becomes-popular teen movie, is over 14 years old. For a movie with a pretty big ensemble cast, it's surprising how rarely we see most of its actors today. In honor of #ThrowbackThursday, we found out what Zack, Laney, Dean and the rest of She's All That's stars are up to now. Spoiler alert: most of them can't really be called stars anymore.

Freddie Prinze Jr., Then

In 1999, Freddie Prinze Jr. was a legitimate heartthrob. He had already starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer, and taking the lead role as popular guy Zack in She's All That just cemented his hottie status. Strange time the '90s, huh?

Freddie Prinze Jr., Now

Like many guys who peak in high school, things have been downhill—professionally, anyway. Prinze Jr. kept some fame aive by starring in the two live-action Scooby-Doo movies as Fred and landing a guest spot on Friends in its prime. Since then, he's had a short-lived TV show called Freddie and a few guest roles on various other shows. His only project slated for this year is a guest role on Lifetime's The Witches of East End. But it's not all bad, he married Buffy herself Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002 and they have two children.

Rachael Leigh Cook, Then

She's All That was probably supposed to be Cook's big breakout role. As nerd-turned-prom-queen Laney Boggs, she was the "she" in the title, after all. Before that, her only big roles were in teen comedy All I Wanna Do and her first ever role, Mary Anne in The Baby-Sitters Club movie.

Rachael Leigh Cook, Now

Currently, Cook can be seen on TNT's Perception, alongside Will & Grace's Eric McCormack. But between the series and She's All That, there wasn't much besides her starring role in the 2001 Josie and the Pussycats movie. She's done voice work on shows like Robot Chicken, had a few guest spots and some not very successful movies. At least Perception seems to be doing well as it enters its third season.

Paul Walker, Then

As Dean, the douchey best friend of Prinze Jr.'s Zack, all Walker had to was look generically cute and say something mean once in a while. Dean wasn't quite as likable as Walker's other high school character, Lance, in his breakout film Varsity Blues.

Paul Walker, Now

Who would've guessed Walker would become the most successful actor of the cast? Thanks to a starring role in a little 2001 movie called The Fast & The Furious, Walker is now the star of an insanely successful franchise, with its seventh movie being released next year.

Matthew Lillard, Then

Like the star of She's All That , Lillard started in a horror movie with a role in the first Scream. In She's All That he plays a former star of The Real World who steals Zack's girlfriend, so he's pretty much responsible for the movie's whole premise.

Matthew Lillard, Now

Most people probably associate Lillard with Scooby-Doo's Shaggy now, and with good reason. After She's All That all he really did was star in the two films and then provide Shaggy's voice for the animated series. Until 2011, that is, when he popped up with a pretty major role in the Oscar-winning The Descendants. Now he can still be heard on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and seen on FX's drama The Bridge. Oh, and he got a take-me-seriously makeover of a beard and glasses.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Then

She was Taylor, the mean girl, the popular one who would trample anyone in her way to becoming prom queen. The Regina George of the '90s, you probably hated her. As for the actress behind her, O'Keefe was starring in Nash Bridges, which lasted until 2001, when she made She's All That.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Now

Let's just say it's too bad Nash Bridges couldn't last forever. Since it ended, O'Keefe has appeared here and there on various TV shows, until she finaly landed a recurring role on the last two seasons of Prison Break. Since that ended in 2009, she's gone back to guest appearances and short-lived roles. If you watch any syndicated sitcoms, you'll probably recognize her at some point.

Kieran Culkin, Then

If Laney's brother looked at all familiar in She's All That, it's probably because he resembles his brother, Macaulay Culkin (Do I really need to tell you he's the star of Home Alone?). Kieran also appeared in the first two Home Alone films, though he didn't have any instantly-famous aftershave scenes, and played Steve Martin's son in both Father of the Bride movies.

Kieran Culkin, Now

It must be hard to have your career peak before you hit puberty. Since She's All That, Kieran's only notable roles have been Michael Cera's best friend in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and an appearance in Margaret. Maybe it's time for a third Father of the Bride? Grandfather of the Bride?

Anna Paquin, Then

As Zack's little sister Mac, Paquin gave Laney that big makeover. Of course She's All That was no big deal for the then-17-year-old Paquin, who had already won an Oscar for The Piano when she was 11. Yeah, 11. Plus she'd starred in Fly Away Home, so things were going pretty great.

Anna Paquin, Now

And they got even better. Just a year after She's All That Paquin played Rogue in X-Men, as well as it's two sequels, with a third coming next year. In 2008 she landed the starring role of Sookie in HBO's True Blood, and the sexy vampire show will have its seventh and final season next summer. She's also married to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, and the couple had twins in 2012.

Usher

I think we all know what Usher has been up to, I just wanted to give a friendly reminder that Usher was in She's All That, and he was adorable.
