Her New Baby Is Adorable

If you follow Alyssa Milano on Twitter or Instagram, you know that not only is she is an active social media user but she's also an extremely attentive mom. She chronicles little nuances of her life on her public accounts, just as any non-celeb mom would (you all have Facebook, you know how this goes), and it's refreshing to see someone who's been in Hollywood for so many years seem so normal and excited about even the mundane "mom" activities. So, when Alyssa Milano posted a picture of her newborn daughter while she was breastfeeding to Instagram, it only seemed fitting. The actress captioned the photo,

"Ah, the joy of suckling! She lovingly watched the fishlike motions of the toothless mouth and she imagined that with her milk there flowed into her little son her deepest thoughts, concepts, and dreams." ~Milan Kundera

This, shouldn't be a big deal, and hasn't been yet, but, if you recall there was that whole #FreeTheNipple movement on Instagram. In this instance, that area of Milano is covered, but, even if it wasn't, something about this pro-breastfeeding mom makes me think that wouldn't phase her anyway. It appeared to be a subtle and poised statement. The Charmed actress is really vocal and proactive about breastfeeding and this Instagram only goes to show that she practices what she preaches.

What I'm more concerned about is if little Elizabella will be happy with her mom's first selfie of her. It is artsy and coolly angled and, I mean, her mom is Phoebe Halliwell. I think she'll be OK with it.
