Well, considering how Juan Pablo Galavis handled his stint on The Bachelor this past season, I can't say this decision is too surprising. According to Life & Style, former Bachelor contestant turned Bachelorette Andi Dorfman and fiancé Josh Murray revealed a bit about their wedding guest list — specifically what Bachelor alums might be celebrating their walk down the aisle with them.
And well...I don't think I have to even build up to a surprise reveal that Juan Pablo is not one of them.
"Nikki definitely has to come," Dorfman said of Juan Pablo's girlfriend and fellow Bachelor contestant Nikki Ferrell. This is also pretty unsurprising considering the two are actually good friends despite Dorfman's...well, less-than-warm feelings about Juan Pablo (I mean, the girl eliminated herself from The Bachelor ). Hopefully, though, it won't make things awkward, because Dorfman and Murray immediately followed that statement up with a firm declaration that Juan Pablo is not welcome despite the fact that he's still dating Ferrell.
"He’s not coming," Murray added. "Just good people. No people whose character I just don’t like." Ouch, but understandable. Dorfman reportedly quickly agreed in her lawyer-y way, saying, "We’re going with a general ‘no ex’ rule."
Considering Dorfman's history with Juan Pablo, this doesn't seem like an unreasonable request — it's their day, and they're allowed to invite specifically who they want to. Juan Pablo's drama might have made for some cringe-worthy/hilarious TV, but when it comes to your wedding day, that stuff shouldn't be welcome.
