Finally A New Album (And Video) From Damian Rice

Closing a ten year gap since his last major album, Damian Rice is finally back with a new album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, due out November 10th. ::PraiseHands:: And today, we're getting a preview of what's to come by way of the official video for the first single from the album, "I Don't Want To Change You". When Damian Rice's breakout album O came out in 2004, I was 16 (put down your goddamn calculators) and primed for feeling all the feelings that that album set out to make people feel. Basically, I was primed, willing, and ready to have my emotions gloriously manipulated by the brooding, fun-sized, Irish dreamsicle. And it was exquisite. So you can imagine how heartbroken (or rather, how annoyingly unheartbroken) I was when Damian Rice left us without a new album for a solid decade.

These are the only two things I really have to say about any of this:

1. I really, sincerely missed Damian Rice and think he's very special and am super excited that we're getting new music from him.
2. If someone doesn't hurry up (with my damn croissant) and make a mash-up of My Favourite Faded Fantasy and My Dark Twisted Fantasy, I'm basically about to (ノ ゜Д゜)ノ ︵ ┻━┻
