Guess Which 'Friends' Star is Headed to Scandal?
ABC's Scandal is one of those shows known for its tendency to never take its foot off the breaks when it comes to drama. Twist after turn after, well, scandalous plotline just keeps coming and coming, one after another. This year it's adding another probable scandal-maker to the mix, in the form of former-Phoebe Bouffay Lisa Kudrow.
Kudrow is producing partners with long-running Scandal cast member Dan Bucatinsky (pictured above), who plays James Novak, husband to Jeff Perry's Chief of Staff character. Together, Kudrow and Bucatinski serve as executive producer to the Showtime show Web Therapy and TLC's Who Do You Think You Are?
Kudrow's joining the third season of the show as a recurring player, playing a politician whose name and political ties we're not allowed to know yet.
Scandal's got a lot to handle in Season 3 — President Fitzgerald Grant's road to reelection, the ramifications of the very public revelation of said president's affair, the story behind Olivia Pope's father, whatever the heck is happening with Scott Foley's Jake Ballard, and the list goes on and on. We're sure even more salacious plot lines will be added to the mix once the show picks up for Season 3, so it'll be interesting to see where Kudrow's character fits in.
