What if Carrie Bradshaw was on Instagram?

Sometimes it can be hard to tell where Sarah Jessica Parker ends and Carrie Bradshaw begins. Through all the Sex and the City marathons on cable and SJP's fashion endeavors, both Bradshaw and Parker are always present in the pop culture landscape. This omnipresence of both Sarah Jessica Parker and her alter ego on top of their overlapping interests in the fashion world have made it hard to extrapolate the two women. SJP even named a style of shoes after the famous character calling it "The Carrie."

After the HBO series ended its run, Bradshaw wasn't retired for long before Sarah Jessica Parker and the rest of the ladies participated in two Sex and the City movies. Although the show is destined to live on forever in syndication, fans have accepted they would not get to see any new plot points in the Carrie Bradshaw saga. It was an end of an amazing era.

It had finally settled in — but recently, the buzz for a third movie hit an all-time high. Yes, there has always been talks of hoping that the cast would get back together to film again, but there has never been a confirmation. Is it best to leave a party at its height? Is there still a story to tell? Would all the women be on board? There have always been so many unanswered questions surrounding the franchise.

Then, Sarah Jessica Parker dropped a major hint on her personal Instagram account. She posted an image of herself surrounded on a brownstone steps surrounded by shoes with the caption: "It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day. #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!” Is she solely referring to the shoe named after her character, or sending a message to fans about her most famous character's return to the big screen?

The picture and caption seem like a #TotalCarrieMove and that got me thinking. What would Carrie Bradshaw be like on Instagram? Her username would probably be something cute like @CarrieLovesBig or she would go for a pun with @GetCarriedAway. She would also probably use a lot of word play in the captions. Even if the movie does happen, we will still have to wait a while before we see any new Carrie content. As Carrie would say, "I couldn't help but wonder" what her Instagram would be like. Let's imagine what Bradshaw would share with us on the social media network.
