'Glee' Star & Leah Remini to Dance this Season
Are you ready to see which B-list stars are gonna shake the proverbial "it" for all it's worth? Well no matter the answer, Dancing With the Stars casting news is here. The show is barreling forward with another season of celebs in sparkly, tight clothing, and the announcements for who'll be donning the costumes this year when the show returns for season 17 on September 16 are starting to roll in.
Glee star Amber Riley is first up. No longer a series regular on Glee, Riley is only set to appear in the Cory Monteith tribute episode planned to be the third of the season. After that, she's scheduled to spend her time learning the latest crazes in ballroom dancing.
Appearing alongside Riley in the competitor's circle will be Leah Remini, the former King of Queens star who's been making headlines in the recent past for her very public split with the Church of Scientology.
Rounding out the crew, former Rhoda star Valerie Harper has also signed on to dance the nights away. Harper recently revealed that she's currently living with terminal brain cancer. Signing on for such a potentially exhausting task seems risky for someone in her condition, but it's also very possible that she's just trying to live life to the fullest in the time that she's got.
Pretty solidly B-list line up, if you ask me. Oh, and it's also being rumored that Jersey Shore's Snooki, Elizabeth Berkley (Jesse from Saved by the Bell!), and Jack Osbourne will also be joining the cast.
The entire cast will be announced on Good Morning America on September 4.
