Check Out J. Law's Boyfriend Checklist

Jennifer Lawrence has returned to the spotlight following the nude photo scandal that rocked the world a few weeks ago by appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair, and she's never looked better. Her interview is full of her trademark honesty, addressing everything from how she felt after the hack, to what she looks for in a guy. Since the names "Jennifer Lawrence" and "Chris Martin" have been AMAZINGLY combined to "Martin Lawrence" as of late thanks to their budding relationship (seriously, whoever thought of that, you are my hero), it makes me wonder: Does the Coldplay frontman really measure up to J. Law's standards?

So far the A-list couple has yet to confirm their GF-BF status, but since the Hunger Games actress has been spotted at pretty much all of Coldplay's recent gigs and was photographed leaving Martin's Malibu beach house one morning (*wink wink*), there's definitely something serious going on between them. Even Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly approves, albeit in her typically creepy and overbearing way. This is the first guy Lawrence has been linked to since the end of her four year relationship with on-again, off-again boyfriend and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult, and while Martin is certainly dreamy (#leadsingerprobs), is he her perfect match? Since she told VF all about what her perfect partner would be like, let's see if Martin fits the bill.

Will he watch Real Housewives with her?

Lawrence told the mag that when it comes to a significant other, she "would just rather have somebody that has the same taste in reality TV," and listed Real Housewives, Dance Moms, and Shark Tank as some of her favorites. Sadly, I don't think Chris Martin, Coldplay singer and musical ~artiste~, would be able to sit through a reality show without being heavily intoxicated. He may not be as high-brow as Goopy Gwynnie, but this might be a step too far.

Will he help stuff burritos into her purse at an event?

There's no denying that J. Law is one of the few Hollywood actresses who openly admits to loving food, and in her interview she said that a gluten-free lifestyle is "the new cool eating disorder, the 'basically I just don’t eat carbs.'" The writer who interviewed her, Sam Kashner, also described Lawrence as "the anti-vegan, anti-gluten-free consumer, having just eaten a breakfast of spaghetti and meatballs before the interview." Since Martin has spent the last decade living under Gwyneth Paltrow's strict eating regimen, I think he'd be more than happy to embrace a little freedom in the food department with his new flame. Can't you just see them chowing down on McDonald's together? Aw.

Will he be low-key enough for her?

Lawrence told Kashner she wants someone who, "you know, isn’t afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love. I’d rather have just a peaceful time. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you." Although he's frontman of an obscenely popular band, Chris Martin strikes me as someone she can definitely be herself with. He's very private, and besides writing a beautiful song about her, would probably keep things pretty chill.

Will he make her laugh?

She admitted she has a major comedy crush on Larry David, and "worships Woody Allen." Martin seems quiet, but if you've ever seen his appearance on British TV show Extras , you know he's definitely got a hidden hilarious side.

Will he promise not to throw any diva tantrums?

She said, "I don’t like fighting, and I find argumentative people the most annoying people on the planet. Like, why do you still want to be fighting? It’s just unattractive," and again, Martin seems very low maintenance which would be perfect for her.

Overall, however unlikely their relationship, it appears that Martin Lawrence has some pretty spectacular potential. Also, if you want to see J. Law's gorgeous cover shoot in action, check it out below! Be careful, though, because you might faint from the overall flawlessness.
