Today in news-that-surprises-absolutely-no-one, TMZ is reporting that Alec Baldwin has gotten into another fight with a paparazzo outside of his West Village home. Also, the sky is blue, the grass is green, and Pluto still isn't a planet.
Here's what went down: Baldwin and Hilaria were approached by the freelance paparazzo on the street. Baldwin, of course, did what he does and got pissed about it, then he grabbed the guy and shoved him against the hood of some random person's now-famous car. The paparazzo told TMZ that he didn't do anything to provoke Baldwin's TOTALLY UNEXPECTED OUTBURST, saying, "All I can say is I was doing my job asking him normal questions and he flipped. That's all." Right.
TMZ also got a quote from a "friend" of Baldwin's who's familiar with the incident, and also probably no longer Baldwin's friend because he talked to TMZ.
A friend of Alec tells us ... Alec was with his wife Hilaria during the incident ... and Hilaria, in an effort to avoid the pap, ducked into a nearby tea store. We're told Alec also called police.
The friend tells us, "What kind of sick twisted psychopath chases a woman who just got out of the hospital from having a baby into a tea store?"
AN EVIL ONE, THAT'S WHO. Spoiler alert: Alec Baldwin is really Batman (Baldman? Batwin? We'll work on that), and was really just protecting Gotham/NYC. Case CLOSED.
TMZ added that after the cops were called, both Baldwin and the paparazzo admitted to pushing and shoving each other, so no charges are going to be pursued on either end.
