It's no secret that Kendall Jenner has been defying all reality television star odds and totally killing it on the runways this season: After already walking the runway for designers from Chanel to Tommy Hilfiger to Givenchy at fashion weeks in New York, London, Paris, and Milan, it's being reported that the 18-year-old's next job might include wings. According to In Touch Magazine, Victoria's Secret has interest in signing Kendall Jenner to be an Angel, after seeing her basically take over fashion weeks around the world this year.
"They saw all the buzz she got from walking in New York Fashion Week," a source reportedly told the tabloid. "They’d love to lock in a contract with her...Kendall once said her biggest dream was to be an Angel."
This would be huge for Jenner's career, and would catapult her to A-list model status. Which, you know, good for her — though she's had a lot of criticism about whether or not she deserves the success she's achieved in the modeling world because of her name, I just think that's all the more indication that she's a hard worker. After all, the Kardashian name has never been totally associated with high fashion until just recently, so Jenner did have a lot standing between getting the high fashion modeling career she wanted.
There's only one problem, though: Apparently, Kris Jenner might be asking for too much money. While I can definitely believe that she would, I'm doubtful this will make the deal fall through or anything — even Kris should be able to see that this is a huge opportunity, and act accordingly if negotiations hit a wall.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll hear it all detailed next season on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so no worries.
