Monday, Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day and what better way to celebrate than with a supercut of all the times "coffee" is said on Gilmore Girls? Love for the beverage is so universal that it transcends our world into the movies and shows we love — and no one likes coffee as much as Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. There's no doubt, these Gilmore girls would be celebrating National Coffee Day with a steaming cup of java from Luke's Diner. (It's too bad they don't have Dunkin' Donuts or any of those restaurants giving away a free cup to mark the holiday.)
Lorelai and Rory are borderline obsessed with the drink and throughout the show's seven seasons are shown indulging in multiple cups every episode. All that adds up to a lot of coffee and the supercut is over two minutes long. By the end of the video, the word coffee will have lost all meaning to you.
It's very fitting that National Coffee Day falls on a Monday this year, as it's one of the hardest days to get through without a morning jolt. So let's take a moment to appreciate the beverage for all it does by watching TV's most coffee-obsessed women talk about the drink they love the most.
