I'm not going to lie, I was a bit upset about the news on Monday about Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner filing for divorce. While it seemed like a long time coming, especially after they announced their separation last October, it's always sad when marriages don't work out. Luckily, the split seems to be amicable and I imagine they'll stay friends. Even on previous episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, they both appeared much happier when they were doing their own thing, while still visiting each other occasionally. They'll also be sharing joint kustody —I mean custody — of Kylie Jenner. So overall, it seems like there are no hard feelings.
Now that the marriage is over, I wonder if Bruce will still appear on episodes of KUWTK. Besides baby Mason, Bruce is probably my favorite character on the show. He doesn't get caught up in unnecessary drama. Plus, he calls out the family members when they're acting ridiculous. So all-in-all, he's the most down-to-earth member of the fam.
Although I don't think he'll be off the show entirely — or at least I hope not — I've decided to do Bruce Jenner a favor and round up a list of shows he can go on now instead. Despite the fact that he's not always super enthusiastic about reality TV, I think he definitely has star potential:
Punk'd
It's been far too long since MTV played Punk'd. While Ashton Kutcher was awesome, I think Bruce would be an even better prankster. Remember that time he scared Kim with a spider? He'd have plenty of ideas up his sleeves.
The Hills
Not only would a Hills sequel allow him to bond with his son Brody (who always complained on KUWTK about not seeing his dad enough), but maybe he could help Spencer Pratt change his ways. Bruce befriended Scott Disick, even when he was a jerk, and well, Spencer could use all the help he can get.
Big Brother
At this point, he's definitely familiar with being surrounded by cameras and microphones. Since the spotlight is no big deal to him anymore, I think he could definitely win the competition.
Bruce & Scott Take New York
Forget the Kardashian sisters taking on different cities, imagine how great it'd be for Bruce and Scott Disick to have their own adventures! And hey, maybe a change of scenery would be good right now.
Jock of Love
I loved Bret Michaels' show — I really did. But it was so 2007! This is the perfect opportunity to revive the show and for Bruce to find his true love. Instead of giving out clocks like Flavor Flav or VIP passes like Bret Michaels, he'd give out Olympic medals, obviously.
