Glam Slide Sandals Are Now a Thing
Just when I'd accepted the fact that Birkenstocks were back, the fashion world kicks it up a notch. While I had begun to wrap my head around the slight possibility of purchasing a pair of the world's favorite ugly-turned-trendy slide sandals, now they're, like, glamour-ized. Even Vogue is in now, apparently, sharing some over-the-top rhinestoned Fausto Puglisi pool slides on Instagram.
That's right. I guess neutral suedes and leather styles are sooo last season (typical Alexa, jumping on the bandwagon way late). Now, the hottest pairs involve calf hair camouflage and studded tartan print.
While I'm all for a comfy flat with a touch of chic, #Icanteven with these. But I guess if Anna Wintour's crew approves...
