It's Been 4 Years & Taylor's Still Not Over It

You know how Taylor Swift is still surprised that people cheer for her when she walks out on stage? She's also still surprised that Kanye West ripped that VMA out of her hand back in 2009. It's been four years since Kanye's now-infamous award jank, and as much as we love Taylor, it's time she got over it. At first the jokes were funny, and kind of clever, but now they're just played. It's 2013, and Taylor just sent Ed Sheeran a jar of homemade jam with a label that reads: "Yo Ed, I'm really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let you finish but this is the best JAM OF ALL TIME — T."

The English singer-songwriter shared a photo of the jam on Instagram and captioned it: "Taylor made me some jam. Amazing." It's to be determined whether the "amazing" is sarcastic, as in, "it's amazing she's still bringing that up", but we have a sneaking suspicion it's genuine, which only makes things worse.

Here's the thing — we'd let Taylor get away with this joke if a) it was 2010, or b) she hadn't already used it, but neither is the case. You'll remember that she allegedly tweeted after the birth of North West: "@KimKardashian @kanyewest Yo I'm happy for you and imma let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best labors of all time", then, when the 2013 VMA nominations were announced, Taylor got after it again, tweeting, "Two VMA nominations! If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ;)”

Now this? Come on Tay, as much as we're no fans of Kanye, it's time to let it go, girl. Breathe in, breathe out. There are just so many other avenues in which to make fun of Yeezus. Leave this kind of jam out of it.
