During his ongoing crusade to be the most adorable that there ever was, Chris Pratt threw the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game recently — you know, adorably. Apparently, Parks & Recreation is in the city to shoot some episodes (if you remember, Leslie's home office is now technically in Chicago — she just had the parks department outsource the job to Pawnee, so she could live in both places and still be with the Parks gang) so it made perfect sense that Marvel's — and the world's — newest leading dude, Star-Lord himself, show up to a Cubs game and be his awesome, hilarious, endearing self.
First, he shows up to Children's Hospital of LA in full costume as his Guardians of the Galaxy character Peter Quill, and now this? I don't know about you, but my Chris Pratt love is officially way, way out of hand at this point. I don't know how I'm going to survive watching the next season of Parks & Recreation without hugging my TV or laptop or whatever every time he's on screen. Seriously, this guy's the best! I mean, sure, the pitch wasn't good , but Pratt knew it was all in good fun and did his best anyway.
OK, so, not the greatest pitch. But he did wear the best hat he could have possibly ever worn:
And he looked great while doing it:
These are the important things anyway.
