Bey's Got A New 'Do — And It's Super Short

No one should be surprised that it only took until September 1 for the always-trendy Queen Bey to debut a new look for fall. In an Instagram post Monday night, Beyoncé revealed a new wavy bob haircut after she chopped off her long, lush locks. Autumn leaves haven’t even started falling yet and everyone’s fall style updates are already outdone and put to shame. Like I said, we shouldn’t be surprised — this is the same woman who basically changes her hair after every single public appearance.

Her new cropped style features a center part and wavy tresses that hit just below Beyoncé’s chin. It’s a dramatic change for the versatile megastar, who recently donned floor-grazing Rapunzel extensions in her CR Fashion Book shoot. But have no fear, the Queen Bey is certainly no stranger to pulling off edgy hairstyles. Remember last year’s epic pixie cut? Beyoncé is my main inspiration for change in the locks department — she has be convinced that sticking with one style is not the way to go.

Plus, it's not like this is the first time Beyoncé has ever done the bob thang — this haircut is pretty similar to last summer when she went blonde and shoulder length while (secretly) shooting her visual album. Seriously, how did none of us catch on to the fact that something big was up??
