15 New Fall Nail Polish Colors To Get You Properly Excited For The Best (Yes, The Best) Season Of The Year

I can't begin to tell you how many sentimental "so long summer" social media posts I saw on my feeds this past Labor Day Weekend. Seriously, it felt like we would never see a beach or ice cream cone again in our lives.

Pro tip: Summer will happen again next year. Bonus pro tip: You can and should eat ice cream all year round.

Don't get me wrong, I love sundresses and frolicking along beaches as much as the next girl, but I'm ready for the season to change. Perhaps I'm a bit biased (I'm a September baby), but for anyone still feeling a bit weepy about the fact that it's time to start packing up those swimsuits, here are a handful of reasons to get excited about fall:

1. Snuggly Boots and Sweaters

2. Halloween Candy

3. Back to School and decorating your new dorm room

4. Walking across crispy leaves

5. Pumpkin Spice Lattes (despite the fact that's there's no real pumpkin in it)

6. Fall TV Premiers like Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and Parenthood

7. Fashion Month

And if that isn't enough to get you excited, consider this: new fall nail polishes. From OPI's rich Nordic colors to Deborah Lippmann's glamorous New York Marquee lacquers, here are 15 excuses to add to your ever-growing polish collection and even more colorful reasons to fall in love with Fall.

Rich Brown Nail Polish

Okay, so since I live in Copenhagen I was a little biased when picking the Denmark-inspired color from OPI’s new Nordic Collection, but I seriously love this deep chocolatey brown color. The complete collection has 12 colors with a lot of purples and browns.

OPI How Great Is Your Dane, $6.44, amazon.com

Deep Red, Shimmery Nail Polish

This rich red color was inspired by Pulp Fiction’s 20th anniversary, because what could be wrong with channeling Mrs. Mia Wallace?

This creamy peach polish, one of Julep’s newest colors, is perfect for any time of year. Bonus: It’s vegan-friendly.
