They Got Married!

Our bad ass spirit sister Ashlee Simpson is all grown up now. And by "grown up," I mean she's much more refined and sophisticated, although admittedly, I loved her raw, spunky side just as much as this new mature married lady. That's right, adolescents of the early 2000s, Simpson just took the plunge (again). Ashlee Simpson married Evan Ross this past weekend and it was super duper fancy. And, from what I've read, I don't think there was any heavy use of charcoal eyeliner... by the bride at least.

E! Online gave quite an in-depth description of the Simpson-Ross wedding ceremony and reception, and damn it if it didn't sound extremely elaborate and well, perfect:

...The two celebs tied the knot Sunday afternoon in a lavish, Bohemian-themed wedding ceremony held at the groom's mother's (Diana Ross) estate in Greenwich, Conn. The ceremony featured eclectic decor including huge dream catchers and tents, similar to their engagement party.

I suppose that being Diana Ross' son and Jessica Simpson's sister contributes to the extravagance, which is all fun and games until someone has to go and plan this major life event. I'm assuming it would likely lead to some major pressure and anxiety for the overwhelmed bride.

Here's how I imagine the wedding planning went (assumming Ashlee still acts like her 2004 self):

Just picture trying to figure out a celebrity seating chart without there being bloodshed and quotes worth of snarky Instagram pictures.

Because who's going to attend the wedding of a badly photographed couple?

It's harder to commit to the perfect hairdresser than it is to commit to a spouse for eternity.

She predicted her feelings perfectly all those years ago!
