Carrie Underwood's Dogs Announce She's Pregnant

Jesus take the wheel, because Carrie Underwood is pregnant. The country star, who's married to Nashville Predator hockey player Mike Fisher, announced via Twitter and Instagram that the couple is expecting their first child together. Underwood, who you of course remember from American Idol and Fisher, who you of course recognize as an NHL veteran with 481 career points, have been married since 2010.

Using the last day of summer (and yes, yes, we know summer doesn't officially end until Sept. 23, but come on, deal with it, it's gone) Underwood made a punny with Labor Day on Instagram. The 31-year-old wrote:

In honor of "Labor" Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier...

Her dogs, who appear to be at least part Chihuahua, are wearing "I'm going to be a big brother" and "I'm going to be a big sister" dog t-shirts in the photo. It seems, though, that some people were confused as to whether or not the pic indicates that Underwood is with child, or if she and Fisher are expecting to adopt another pup. To clear up any misunderstanding, Fisher took to Twitter. The 34-year-old Canadian native tweeted:

All I can say is, Underwood and Fisher are killing it with their witticisms. Here's hoping their offspring is a total mother punner.
