Is He Selena Gomez's New Boyfriend?
It appears that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together. Or never broke up. Or whatever is actually going on with them these days. You would think that after Bieber and Gomez's date was interrupted by the police, that would be all the red flag that Gomez needs to press the eject button on that relationship, but she's a grown woman and can make her own life choices. However, one particular life choice got fans in a fury Wednesday morning and it's another one of those dramatic moments where half of it is people complaining about the drama. Gomez and One Direction's Niall Horan went to dinner in West Hollywood Tuesday night and apparently that means they're dating.
The interesting part of the whole controversy is that Bieber was with Horan and Gomez at the restaurant, according to later reports. However, that key part of the story was left out of the initial rumor, which led to people losing their minds trying to figure out what Horan and Gomez were doing having dinner alone together on a Tuesday night. The fact that the two of them have been friends for a while was irrelevant here. Tuesday is date night, you guys, and everyone knows how two people having a meal together can lead to an insta-romance even when one or both of them is already in a relationship at the time. Just ask Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult.
So if you're having trouble coming to terms with the idea that Niall and Selena are dating, or not dating, or friends, or eating dinner in the same place on a Tuesday, allow the fandom to teach you how to react.
