The 'SBTB' News You've Been Waiting For
When I wake up in the morning and my coffee shmornin' lornin' and I think I'll never make it on time; by the time I grab my books and I give myself a look, I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by, it's all right, because I'm saved by the Saved by the Bell DVD box set that's coming out November 5. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that they're releasing a 13-disc box of the complete series that'll go for around $49.99.
If that wasn't enough to entice you to get out that Bayside Tigers sweatshirt you bought a few years ago because you thought it was so funny and so cool, this bit of news might do the trick: not only will the complete series be available on DVD, but one of the discs will be brand new material. It's the bonus disc we've been waiting for, guys!
Who knows what these "newly recorded extras" will be like, but I think we're all hoping and praying there are cast interviews, and that Dustin Diamond remains fully clothed. And hey, if we could get some interviews with Leah Remini (she's allowed to talk, right?), that'd be amazing. Stacey Carosi is our spirit animal.
A Boy Meets World box set with 22 discs will also hit stores in November, but we're still waiting on our Hang Time DVDs and our California Dreams box sets. Surf dudes with attitudes! Etc.
To get you in the mood for the SBTB release, let's remember the roller-coaster sounding "oohs" that dominated the Bayside landscape for the better part of a decade:
