Today in "aww, that's the sweetest news ever" news: According to Perez Hilton, Britney Spears flew a dying fan to see her concert in Las Vegas, where she has a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino — and, even better, the pop singer took the time to meet him before the show as well. Is that just the sweetest news ever, or what?
It all started when 28-year-old fan Cory Moraw, who suffers from cirrohsis of the liver, put together a very short bucket list — so short, in fact, that all it included was "Meet Britney Spears," who had been his idol for years. A campaign began in his east Texas hometown of Longview, but it wasn't long before it reached Spears' most active Twitter fans and spawned the trending hashtag, #BritneyPleaseMeetCory. When Spears got word...well, the rest was history.
Spears personally flew Moraw and his family to Vegas this week, where they were treated to free entry to one of her concerts at Planet Hollywood, as well as a meet and greet with her before the show. According to Moraw's step-sister on Twitter, Britney and her team "treated Cory as if he was the super star...it was amazing!"
