If I had a nickel for every time I announced a new project that James Franco is affiliated with, I would have, like...well, a lot of nickels, let's just say that. Yet again, the actor/artist/author/director/producer/student/teacher/screenwriter/producer/singer/poet/whatever else he does has a new project, and this time, it's racy. Thanks to Indiewire, we now have the first trailer for the James Franco-produced BDSM documentary Kink , which is set to hit theaters later this month.
As the subject matter of the documentary suggests, Kink is a pretty graphic film — and while the trailer doesn't show any nudity or anything like that, I would suggest not watching this one at work. It's not as NSFW as you'd expect a trailer for a movie about BDSM to be, but it's still pretty NSFW.
The entire thing is basically made up of moaning that sounds like the fakest orgasm of all time. However, if you're not somewhere that people will think you're watching an adult film, Kink actually seems like a kind of interesting look at the world of BDSM pornography. It follows a few employees of one of the largest BDSM porn distributors in the nation, Kink.com, and it seems like it's going to delve into the logistic behind running that sort of organization, as well as the psychology of BDSM itself.
You can check out the trailer below. Kink will hit theaters on August 22.
