Jill Duggar Has Big News

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have been having an incredibly busy summer. First, in June, Duggar and Dillard got married. Duggar, who is one of the numerous children featured on the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, got engaged to Dillard after about 11 months of courtship. Now, People magazine reveals exclusively that Duggar is pregnant with her first child before their audience has even gotten a chance to see the wedding featured on the show.

Ever since they got married, Dillard and Duggar have seemed nothing short of ecstatic with their relationship. How do we know? Because Duggar and Dillard have been posting Instagram photos that would make Kim Kardashian and Kanye West jealous, of course. According to People, the couple have been trying in vain to get pregnant for a while now, but Duggar was persuaded by her sisters to take one more pregnancy test while she and Dillard were visiting her parents' house. That test was the test that finally came back positive.

"It was surreal," said Dillard to People. "We were shocked. Both of us are so excited." The couple is due in March and have already shared the news with their family, only about a month following the wedding ceremony.

The ceremony will be featured on the next season of 19 Kids and Counting which starts airing in September, but there's no word yet on when and how Duggar's pregnancy ordeal will make it onto the show. For a couple who only kissed for the first time at their wedding, Duggar and Dillard sure aren't wasting any time on the race to a supersize family of their very own. Let the next generation of 19 Kids and Counting begin.
