These days when you watch the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries wedding on Hulu it starts with a disclaimer letting you know the marriage is already over. But even if you didn't have that information, it's pretty easy to tell that their union wasn't going to be forever. Between the snide comments and fights that the pair had, and the fact that their personalities were just far too different, when you watch "Kim's Fairytale Wedding," you can actually see their marriage fall apart on screen before it's even really begun. On this, what would be their third anniversary, it's time we look back.
Everyone made a lot of jokes about Kim's marriage only lasting 72 days but honestly, after compiling this list of 14 times you see their marriage is doomed, it's actually pretty impressive that it lasted as long as it did. At one point, it's not even clear if they're going to walk down the aisle, let alone stay together. So 72 days is kind of a big achievement.
Perhaps it's not a coincidence that Kim called it quits on October 31, 2011, just 22 days after the wedding special premiered on October 9. After watching all this stuff, I'm not sure I'd want to stay married, either.
WHEN THEY COULDN'T AGREE ON HOW MANY KIDS THEY WANTED
Literally one minute in to their wedding special they were already disagreeing about a pretty important topic. Kim wanted three kids, Kris only wanted two. Trouble began to brew in paradise.
WHEN KRIS BROUGHT HIS DOGS TO KIM'S HOUSE
Kris looovess his pups and Kim can't stand them. "You can leave them in there for a little bit," she said when he tried to take them out of their airplane travel carrier. Later she even made him choose between them and her, saying if they slept in the bed, she was going to a hotel. As a dog owner, I can tell you we're a package deal. If you don't like her, I don't like you.
WHEN KRIS WAS MEAN TO KHLOE
Kris constantly picked on Kim's younger sis. I don't care if she deserved it or not, in the Kardashian Klan their family is everything. You don't get to diss them and get away with it.
WHEN KRIS WAS LATE
Being prompt is super important to Kim and her family, so when Kris showed up late to register for gifts and again during a game a golf, people were less than pleased with him.
WHEN HE CRITICIZED KIM AND KRIS JENNER'S TASTE
After he finally showed up to register for gifts, Kim would hold up utensils like forks and Kris Humphries would be super annoying about it. "I can't see putting that in my mouth," he said. Oh, really? It's a fork. Chill out, bro.
WHEN HE SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE BLING
"Do you know who you're marrying?" Kris Jenner asked him, warily. "Kim is the queen of bling."
WHEN HE WANTED A CASINO THEMED WEDDING
I'm shocked Kim didn't want roulette table at her reception.
WHEN SHE HATED HIS HOUSE
Kim dissed everything from the photos he had on his walls to the Beanie Baby sitting on his nightstand (that his grandpa gave him). Then she called his bedroom set heinous and straight out of a Price is Right episode. It's clear their tastes are a bit too different to mesh.
WHEN HE HATED THE PAPARAZZI
Photographers can be annoying, but this was her life when he signed on so he had to deal with it or get out. Complaining got him nowhere.
WHEN HE SAT WITH HIS FRIENDS AT THEIR REHEARSAL DINNER
The happy couple wasn't so happy in the days leading up the ceremony and Kris decided to ditch his bride-to-be during the rehearsal dinner. Instead he hung with some buddies while Kim sat with her family.
WHEN HE ASKED IF SHE WAS EXCITED TO GET MARRIED
After a little fight over wedding guests, the Humphs tried to ease tension by bringing the pair back to the point of all the stress. "Are you excited to be getting married?" he asked. "Totes," Kim answered, lips pursed. Love wasn't exactly in the air.
WHEN SHE DIDN'T CHANGE HER NAME
Kim decided to keep Kardashian as a business decision and Kris was less than thrilled. During one of his confessionals he said, "At this point I feel like I'm not even getting married and I just don't care." Harsh words to throw out so close to your wedding day.
WHEN KRIS WAS ACCUSATORY
Kris loved playing the blame game and throughout the wedding special could be heard saying things like, "Kim stressed me out," and "Kim made me drive in traffic." He didn't seem especially thrilled about his soon-to-be-wife or the wedding adding, "Let's get this over with so you can be a happy person again." I've never been married but shouldn't you be feeling a little less pessimistic before your trip down the aisle?
WHEN SHE HATED EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM
Three nights before the wedding, Kim confided to a friend about the state of their relationship. "I hate him," she confessed. "Every last thing annoys me." Her friend told her that's totes normal before you get married and that it would all work out fine.
