Blanda Eggenschwiler Is More Than Joe Jonas

She may not be as famous as her former boy band member ex, or have a legion of fans screaming and chasing after her in the streets, but Blanda Eggenschwiler is still a star in her own right. On Tuesday, it was reported that Eggenschwiler split from boyfriend Joe Jonas. But the 30-year-old didn't leave her native Switzerland to be in the business of being somebody's girlfriend anyway. No, Eggenschwiler is actually an illustrator and a graphic designer, and has done work for The New York Times . So, in retrospect, dating a Jonas Brother was practically last on her list of "achievements." Also, with that whole being down right strikingly beautiful thing, I'm fairly certain she won't have trouble finding a date in the near future. Not that she needs one, of course. Eggenschwiler holds down that incredibly talented fort all by her damn self.

If you need proof of said prolific talent, the artist has her own portfolio page carefully detailing her work thus far. She not only lists her personal drawings, but professional art as well, and it really looks top notch. I urge you to take a look through it, because you'll forget all about the name "Joe Jonas" once you do. Not that there's anything wrong with Jonas per say, especially considering that the break up was reported to be extremely "amicable" by Us Weekly, but why make the measure of a full grown adult and skilled professional to be who or who she isn't with anymore?
