Troy Bolton's Relationship Advice for Zac Efron
As you probably know, this summer is the summer of Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez's unexpected fling. While I can't tell exactly what they bonded over beyond being tan and gorgeous, one thing's for sure: Zac Efron's High School Musical character Troy Bolton would be happy to see Zac snuggled up to somebody new. Vanessa Hudgens, née Gabriella Montez, left a crater-sized hole in his heart that can only be filled by another raven-haired actress eager to break out into spontaneous musical numbers. Welp, maybe Rodriguez isn't exactly the show tunes type, but I'm sure she's happy to harmonize with Efron when the two of them are lazing about on various yachts in southern Europe. I imagine them singing Sublime's "Santeria" over and over again...
Now that Efron's found love in various places like Sardinia and Ibiza, he needs to learn a few things about keeping it. And who better to turn to than captain of the East High School basketball team and consummate lover boy, Troy Bolton. If Troy could impart some relationship advice to Zac Efron, these are the lessons he'd pass on:
Don't be afraid of romantic gestures
Every girl loves a swoon-worthy beau geste. You know all the moves, Zac. Make her a sumptuous dinner. Show up to her place with a bouquet of roses. Also, making out in the rain is a great idea.
Get your head & your heart in the relationship
Make your mantra "You gotta getcha getcha getcha getcha head in the game." Pay attention to her and her emotions. Talk about your feelings!
Understand if she needs her space
If she wants to have some time to herself, don't take it personally. It's important that you two don't become totally co-dependent, especially given that you're dealing with your own recovery.
Make "me" time
There's no shame in escaping for solitary romps through secluded golf courses if you need to clear your head.
Follow these simple steps and your love will live long and prosper. Remember, we're all in this together.
