This Is Not Your Average Shirt Dress

My love affair with Nicole Richie runs deep — all the way back to her days spent on the 10-year-old hit show The Simple Life , of course. Fortunately, the TV personality, designer, wife, and mother has matured quite a bit since her wild child, Paris Hilton era, and that’s in both the personality and the wardrobe department. In fact, Richie has managed to become quite the style icon over the years, whether she's showing off her fashion chops via her boho-glam Instagram feed or dying her hair purple in a gutsy style move (that totally paid off, by the way).

And now the fashionista and Candidly Nicole star has put her sartorial skills on display once again, looking absolutely sleek, chic, and sexy on Friday evening while co-hosting a “Luxury Redefined" event in Los Angeles. Sporting a slinky shirt dress from designer Anthony Vaccarello, the petite beauty looked both minimalistic and majorly seductive in the anything-but-typical style.

With its down-to-there, plunging neckline; triangle-panel hem; and smoking-hot, thigh-revealing cutouts, Richie’s shirt dress delivered a lot of style points while maintaining her reputation for effortlessly fabulous looks. Styled with statement-but-neutral pumps, a sleek bun, and simple hoop earrings, it’s the kind of easy-glam ensemble some of us can only dream about.
