Becca Tobin Opens Up About Boyfriend's Death

Becca Tobin, who plays Kitty on Glee, turned to Instagram to share her feelings on her boyfriend Matt Bendik's death. Bendik's body was discovered in a hotel room July 10. Tobin had remained silent about the tragedy until she posted a revealing Instagram on Saturday night. Her post, a cuddly photo of her and Bendik, featured the caption "Thank you all for the love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever." She hadn't posted anything to her Instagram or Twitter since his death.

Bendik was a 35-year-old nightclub owner who was described as loving and hard working. His body was discovered in a Philadelphia hotel room, and the cause of death is as of yet unknown. He and Tobin were apparently very in love, and she has been devastated by the loss. Her choice to remain silent until now seems wise and healthy. With enough time to reflect, she was able to craft a thoughtful post and keep a tasteful amount of distance from the paparazzi. Almost a month seems like a good amount of time to keep the media at bay, and hopefully, she has been given the privacy she needs to grieve.
