Celebs Really Love J. Law
Ah, stars, they’re just like us. They buy groceries, curb their dogs, and love Jennifer Lawrence because what man, woman, or child has failed to fall under the spell of the adorably haphazard J. Law? Amidst all the red carpet tripping, late night talk show fart conversing, and food dreaming, The Hunger Games actress is winning the hearts of both her audience and her compatriots. For instance, though she's never worked with her, Glee's Lea Michele had some nice words for Lawrence. In a recent interview Michele said, “I believe personal and professional role models are very important and always keep you inspired.” She cited Barbra Streisand as someone she looks up to, and named Jennifer Lawrence as well. “I think she’s an amazing actress and a very strong outspoken woman,” Rachel Berry’s real life counterpart said. “Those are the kind of women I admire so much.”
Other stars aren't immune to J. Law either. Julia Roberts said that Lawrence was “too cool” to be America’s Sweetheart and Sir Patrick Stewart jokingly growled when asked about Lawrence in an interview because he didn't have any screen time with her in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
I know why we, the un-famous peasants, love Lawrence, but it is nice to see that she has consistent positive feedback from co-stars and even just those in the industry. So what is it that gets her peers falling for her?
Is it because she just exudes cool?
At a Golden Globes after party this year, Selena Gomez seemed starstruck by Lawrence's acceptance speech: “As an actress — seeing Jennifer Lawrence after all she’s been through, even after being a part of an incredible franchise, seeing her acceptance speech was incredible. It was a good moment for me. I don’t even know her, but I think she’s so cool and I think she deserved it.”
Is it because she always makes us laugh?
Lawrence's Hunger Games costar Woody Harrelson hypes her as “the funniest woman I know. I’m in a perpetual state of laughter with her, which is a pretty good way to be on set.”
Is it because we want to be her?
Channing Tatum told Cosmopolitan last year: “I wouldn’t mind being the male Jennifer Lawrence. I think she’s incredibly cool.” I wouldn't mind being any version of Jennifer Lawrence either come to think of it.
Maybe it's because she's just awesome
Lawrence's X-Men costar Wolverine, better known as Hugh Jackman, said, “I think she is anything in the world. That woman is extraordinary"
Or maybe it's because she's just normal
Another X-men costar, James Marsden, hit the nail on the head when he said this about Lawrence: “She’s normal. She’s just a normal chick who trips over stuff and blows her nose. And she’s beautiful on top of it.”
Sure, we can't all be FHM's sexiest woman alive and we might not be able to make a fall at the Oscars seem lovable, but then again not many stars can. It's why we've all fallen for her. Don't believe me? Try watching this gif without being won over.
Yeah, I thought so.
